Question: How do you deal with a non-Christian husband?

My answer:

The Bible says that when your husband is not obedient to the Word of God then the Christian wife, in that case, ought to stay quiet with her words but allow her “good” conduct to do the talking for her.

Men don’t respond well to teaching/preaching from their wives, there are exceptions of course, but for the most part men hear Christian teaching as nagging. Here is the Bible verse that I got this notion from:

“Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel…”
I Pet 3:1-3

here is the same verse in New American Standard Version:

“In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives, as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior. Your adornment must not be merely external–braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses”

The key is that this is done without a word from the wife.

Now, you won’t be perfect, you will talk, trust me. But if you can try to keep this verse in mind. It’s your “chaste and respectful behavior” that will make an impression on your husband.

PLUS…….prayer for him…….of course.
