The Christian Walk

Have you ever asked God to help you to walk in the Spirit?

Have you looked at I and II Peter lately?

In I Pet 4 the Word says that the end of all things is at hand, therefore be sober and watch unto prayer. The chpt also says to love one another, use hospitality to one another, mininster to one another and if any man speaks let him speak as the oracles of God.

In II Pet 1 the Word says that according to God’s divine power He has given to us all things that pertain to life and to godliness. He has called US to glory and virtue.

The chpt says that we might be partakers of the DIVINE NATURE having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

It also says that if we have faith, virtue, patient godliness, brotherly kindness and love then you will NOT be unfruitful in the knowledge of OUR Lord Jesus Christ.
If you lack these things you are blind and can’t see far off and have forgotten that you are purged from your old sins.

In John 15:2 the Word teaches us that as branches that bear fruit God will purge that so that it will bear even more fruit.

Paul writes: “Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” … “The works of the Flesh are manifest and are these:
adultery
forncation
uncleanness
lasciviousness
idolatry
witchcraft
hatred
varience
emulations (jealousies)
wrath
strife
seditions (dissensions)
heresies
envyings
murders
drunkenness
revellings

the Fruit of the Spirit is
love
joy peace
longsuffering
gentleness
goodness
faith
meekness
temperance

if we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Thank you and bless you,
Clevsea
